Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is hiring an Operational Management Information Developer in Stockport. You will turn data into insights, build robust analytical products with SQL, and influence senior stakeholders to improve Universal Credit and Labour Market services.

You will lead data-driven initiatives, present findings clearly to non-technical audiences, and collaborate across Operations, Digital teams and Directors to shape service delivery. A security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information, analysis and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages, ensuring outputs are accurate, reproducible and quality assured.
• Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, identify trends and inform business improvements.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
• Present complex data and technical findings in a clear and engaging way for non-technical audiences.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment while contributing to team objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
