Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to transform data into actionable insights for Working Age Services. You will partner with Operations, Digital teams and senior stakeholders, shaping performance measures and driving evidence-based decisions.

Responsibilities include producing MI with Power BI, building analytical products with SQL, and leading performance-improvement projects across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.

Qualifications

• Must be able to produce management information, analyses and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools.
• Develop analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages.
• Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes with pace.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information, analysis and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages, ensuring outputs are accurate, reproducible and quality assured.
• Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, identify trends and inform business improvements.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
• Present complex data and technical findings in a clear and engaging way for non-technical audiences.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment while contributing to team objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
