Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to turn data into actionable insight for Working Age services. You will produce dashboards, develop analytical products and collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence decisions.

This role supports efficiency, customer outcomes and evidence-based policy across Universal Credit and Labour Market services. You will work in the Digital Transformation Group, delivering analytics that drive performance

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Experience building analytical dashboards.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information, analysis and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL or similar programming languages, ensuring outputs are accurate, reproducible and quality assured.
• Combine and interrogate data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, identify trends and inform business improvements.
• Lead analytical and performance improvement projects, delivering outcomes at pace and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational performance across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to influence decisions and deliver complex outcomes.
• Present complex data and technical findings in a clear and engaging way for non-technical audiences.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment while contributing to team objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement.
