Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Wolverhampton is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to turn data into insight and support evidence-based decision making within the Working Age Services Directorate.

You will use Power BI and SQL to produce management information, develop analytical products, and present findings to senior stakeholders, contributing to service improvement across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing data and turning insights into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to develop and interpret performance metrics and KPIs.
• Able to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful management information and visualisations using Power BI or similar tools.
• Develop robust analytical products using SQL to ensure outputs are accurate and reproducible.
• Combine data from multiple sources to identify trends and inform improvements.
• Lead analytical projects and manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes.
