IT Operational Contracts ManagerWest Yorkshire / Hybrid£400.00 per day Outside IR35

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive IT Operational Contracts Manager to join a leading higher education institution in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled contract management professional to oversee various operational contracts. You will work closely with internal teams and external third-party contractors to ensure effective contract management, service delivery aligned with agreed terms, and achievement of operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end contract processes, ensuring compliance and smooth daily operations.
2. Oversee creation and management of Statements of Work (SOW) with third-party contractors.
3. Collaborate with administrative and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and financial processes.
4. Contribute to developing and improving contract management templates, policies, and procedures.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external contractors, providing expert guidance.
6. Ensure contractual obligations are met and service delivery is effective.
7. Attend Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings as the Programmes commercial/contract manager lead.
8. Coordinate with the Programme admin team and finance business partner for invoice processing.
9. Manage contracts with the third-party systems integrator, Resulting, and other contractors daily.
10. Oversee the systems integrator under their new SOW and assist in creating subsequent SOWs.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in contract management, ideally in both public and private sectors.
• Proven ability to manage complex contracts and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Solid understanding of financial processes related to contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

What You Will Get in Return:

This initial 6-month contract pays up to £400.00 per day outside IR35. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite in West Yorkshire.
