Role Overview

The Senior Contract Manager will support the contracting process for sales, procurement, and non-sales engagements, contribute to internal standards and documentation, and collaborate on process improvements and team enablement activities.

Responsibilities

1. Manage complex procurement agreements related to significant vendor relationships.
2. Create and deliver training materials for procurement and business teams.
3. Assist in developing and maintaining Playbooks and documentation.
4. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Procurement Team and stakeholders.
5. Draft and negotiate various contracts including services, consulting, licenses, SaaS, hardware, and vendor agreements.
6. Collaborate with Legal to improve forms, processes, and procedures.
7. Conduct risk analysis of vendor contracts and recommend mitigation strategies.
8. Understand procurement needs and vendor landscape to develop negotiation strategies.

Qualifications

1. Over 10 years of experience in contracts drafting, reviewing, and negotiation in procurement.
2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; JD or paralegal certification preferred.
3. Proficiency in creating procurement enablement presentations.
4. Expertise in vendor agreements, licensing, and complex contracts.
5. Knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements.
6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
7. Strong interpersonal, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
8. Ability to manage priorities and learn GitLab tools.
9. Experience or willingness to incorporate AI into work processes.
