About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive IT Operational Contracts Manager to join a leading higher education institution in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled contract management professional to take on a key role in overseeing a variety of operational contracts. You will work closely with internal teams and external third-party contractors, ensuring that contracts are effectively managed, service delivery is aligned with agreed terms, and operational goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end contract processes, ensuring compliance and smooth day-to-day operations.
2. Oversee the creation and management of Statements of Work (SOW) with third-party contractors.
3. Collaborate with administrative and finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and financial processes.
4. Contribute to the development and improvement of contract management templates, policies, and procedures.
5. Act as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external contractors, providing expert guidance.
6. Ensure the effective execution of contractual obligations and service delivery.
7. Attend Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings as the Programmes/Contract Manager lead.
8. Work with the Programme admin team and finance business partner to ensure proper receipt and processing of invoices.
9. Manage contracts with the third-party systems integrator, Resulting, and other contractors on a day-to-day basis.
10. Oversee the third-party systems integrator under their new statement of work and assist in the creation of subsequent statements of work.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in contract management, ideally within both the public and private sectors.
• Proven experience managing complex contracts and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Solid understanding of financial processes related to contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

What you will get in return:

This is an initial 6-months contract paying up to £ per day outside of IR35. This is a hybrid role, based 2-3 days on the client site in West Yorkshire.
