Arcadis is looking to add an experienced and motivated Senior Contracts Manager to its team. This role supports the contract governance function within the Intelligence Global Business Area and specializes in contracting digital product offerings to public and B2B environments. Responsibilities include leading commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contract terms, supporting performance on contracts, proactively managing risks, issues, and opportunities, and overseeing contract lifecycle management and compliance activities.

You will establish, manage, and maintain contract KPIs, support contract change proposals, collaborate with legal for contract drafting and negotiation, and operate independently with effective communication internally and externally. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective checks and balances in a centralized manner covering all aspects of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

The role is within our global business area, Intelligence, which uses digital intelligence and deep human knowledge to create holistic products and solutions, addressing global challenges such as climate change, urbanization, digitalization, and societal expectations, with the goal of improving quality of life.

Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining CLM processes relevant to our products and services, establishing robust CLM processes, and aligning with corporate functions. The role involves leading collaboration with technology and growth teams to ensure the delivery of best-in-class products efficiently and scalably.

Qualifications & Experience:

Passion for improving quality of life and understanding the importance of teamwork. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in commercial management and at least 10 years of experience in commercial, risk, and legal negotiation of complex digital product projects. Proven track record in project execution, negotiation, financial performance, technical compliance, and client engagement.

High intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility, with excellent collaboration skills at all organizational levels, especially senior. A pragmatic attitude is vital.

Additional requirements include:

  • Complete understanding of the Contract Lifecycle Management phases in a digital product environment, preferably in a public sector and B2B context.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks.
  • Appreciation of organizational mission, values, and goals, and applying this knowledge.
  • Strong observation and persuasion skills, especially with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate contractual details clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and conflict resolution skills.
