Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Derby is seeking a Small Works Manager to operate on-site within Rolls-Royce projects. You will lead daily operations, supervise technical resources, and develop robust project plans across site-based works.

You will coordinate with customers and suppliers, prepare quotations, monitor KPI/SLA performance and ensure H&S compliance. The role is on-site at Derby with a 40-hour week and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications in Building Services or equivalent.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and CDM 2015 regulations – SSSTS minimum.
• Good knowledge of building services and strong administration skills.
• Proven practical experience in project management or facilities management.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Day to day supervision of the technical resource in relevant areas.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for site-based projects.
• First point of contact for internal/external customers and for the Small Works Lead.
• Monitor project progress and performance and KPI/SLA compliance.
• Carry out Health & Safety inspections and ensure staff/contractors comply with standards.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to scope works and prepare quotations.
• Manage workload and coordination to schedule works, issue quotes as required.
• Produce Test and Commissioning Certificates and oversee project works.
