Job summary

JLL is hiring a Small Works Manager for the Derby region, based on-site at Rolls-Royce. The role focuses on managing small works projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring projects meet safety, quality and timeline targets.

You will lead day-to-day operations, maintain project plans, monitor budgets, and act as the main contact for customers and subcontractors while upholding JLL standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds/NVQ in Building Services or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CDM 2015 (SSSTS minimum).
• Good knowledge of building services and related trades.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Experience in project management or facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of the technical resource.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for site projects.
• Be the first point of contact for internal/external customers and the Small Works Lead.
• Monitor progress, KPIs and SLAs; manage workload and scheduling.
• Conduct regular Health and Safety inspections and ensure compliance.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to scope works and prepare quotes.
• Produce quotes for various departments and manage post-quotation activities.
• Produce Test and Commissioning Certificates and report on project status.
