Job summary

Jdr Recruitment is helping a manufacturing and distribution company in Rishton fill a Sales/Customer Service Administration role. This onsite position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours.

You will manage orders, handle pre-sales and stock inquiries, prepare quotations, process orders, and maintain customer relationships while using SAP. Excellent communication and prior customer service experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-focused office administration experience.
• Must have full Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and IT/data entry skills, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order Management: Ensure all aspects of the Customer's order are managed
• Handle pre sales and stock enquiries from Customers
• Prepare customer quotations, record accurately
• Process all incoming orders onto the system (deal with all enquires, quotes, order processing and delivery)
• Manage to successful conclusion all order queries from Customers, suppliers and internal colleagues
• Manage the Debit/Credit Note process
• Manage any customer Complaints & Returns effectively and efficiently
• Ensure order dates are managed on the system in accordance with rules
• Manage proforma invoice and account status communication with Customers
• Objection handle, deal with complaints through to successful completion
• Manage the customers by staying in contact, making outbound update calls and build relationship
• Update on product changes, availability, delays in delivery or production issues as well as update on special pricing deals to upsell products enhancing sales
• Ensure all processes are followed
• Liaise with all departments across the business - Supply Chain, Credit Control, Sales, Production, Logistics etc
• Use SAP and get involved in testing and updates to the system
