Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking an on-site Team Leader in Preston to manage a team of Customer Service/Sales administrators for a national manufacturing and distribution company. You will lead by example, ensure strong customer relationships, and drive department performance.

The role requires full right to work in the UK, operates Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, and is based on-site with no hybrid option. Strong leadership, SAP/Excel skills, and customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have full Right to Work in the UK.
• Lead and develop a team of Customer Service/Sales administrators.
• Oversee order processing, quotations, and communication with customers.
• Monitor performance, coaching, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• People management including coaching, 1:1s, and team meetings.
• Oversee order management: quotations, sample requests, orders, lead-times, and corrections.
• Manage customer relationships and handle objections and sensitive queries.
• Drive process improvements and report on KPIs using SAP and Excel.
