Job summary

Amey in Pontypridd is seeking a Permanent Off track - Team Leader to lead the on-site off-track maintenance team for the core valley lines project. You will oversee planned and reactive works, ensure safety and compliance, and coordinate with other departments.

The role requires weekend and night work, on-call duties, and a UK driving license. You will manage reports via Maximo tablets and drive continuous improvement with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of off-track maintenance, inspection, faulting and renewal techniques.
• Experience in organising and delivering safe, efficient work.
• Conversant with standards, procedures and instructions.
• Full UK driving license (Cat B).

Responsibilities

• Review recent works and plan for the rest of the week, including planned maintenance and reactive works.
• Ensure reactive maintenance is carried out by competent personnel and adjust plans as needed.
• Complete direct work bank reports via the tablet template interfacing with Maximo.
• Ensure plant, vehicles and equipment are fit for use and stored correctly.
• Interface with other departments to carry out asset maintenance.
• Identify and propose asset renewals based on safety considerations.
