Job summary

Amey is recruiting an Off-Track Operative to maintain, inspect and repair land alongside the track network in Pontypridd. This site-based role involves vegetation management, drainage, boundary work and infrastructure upkeep, with 40 hours weekly and on-call requirements.

You’ll join the AIW (IM) account and help support the metro project within Core Valley Lines, with opportunities for training, career progression and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Ideally hold NVQ1 (or equivalent) in landscaping, arboriculture, civils, fencing or drainage.
• Full UK driving license (Cat B).
• PTS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work safely following safe systems of work and method statements.
• Undertake duties you are trained and competent for.
• Work efficiently and in line with relevant standards.
• Ensure vehicles, plant and materials are fit for use and stored correctly.
