Babcock International seeks an IT Customer Support Specialist to ensure trainees, instructors and staff have reliable IT services in the UK Military Flying Training System. The role is based onsite at RAF Cranwell, with 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.

Key duties include second-line IT support, user training, and managing IT hardware, AV equipment, and deployments across training facilities. A full UK driving licence and SC clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing second-line IT support.
• Experience supporting users within a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence is required for this role.
• Must be able to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

Responsabilités

• Provide second-line IT support and act as escalation point for local IT issues.
• Support military trainees, instructors and customer stakeholders to deliver a positive user experience.
• Manage and maintain IT hardware, telecommunications and AV equipment across the training environment.
• Deliver IT inductions and prepare equipment for new starters joining the programme.
• Configure and deploy IT equipment to support training facilities, classrooms and operational requirements.
