Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an IT Customer Support Specialist to be the hub of IT services for the UK Military Flying Training System. Based onsite at RAF Cranwell, you will support trainees, instructors and staff, ensuring reliable access to technology and systems necessary for daily operations.

You'll provide second-line IT support, assist with configuring and deploying equipment, and deliver IT inductions for new starters.

Qualifications

• Experience providing second-line IT support.
• Experience supporting users within a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• A full UK driving licence is required and SC security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Providing second-line IT support and acting as an escalation point for local IT operational issues.
• Supporting military trainees, instructors and customer stakeholders to deliver a positive user experience.
• Managing and maintaining IT hardware, telecommunications and audio-visual equipment across the training environment.
• Delivering IT inductions and preparing equipment for new starters joining the programme.
• Configuring and deploying IT equipment to support training facilities, classrooms and operational requirements.
