Job summary

Babcock International is hiring an IT Customer Support Specialist to join the RAF Cranwell training environment. You will provide second-line IT support, assist trainees, instructors and staff, and help ensure reliable technology across the programme.

Based onsite at RAF Cranwell, you will manage IT hardware, AV equipment, and inductions for new starters, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience providing second-line IT support.
• Experience supporting users within a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of customer-focused service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Providing second-line IT support and acting as an escalation point for local IT operational issues.
• Supporting military trainees, instructors and customer stakeholders to deliver a positive user experience.
• Managing and maintaining IT hardware, telecommunications and audio-visual equipment across the training environment.
• Delivering IT inductions and preparing equipment for new starters joining the programme.
• Configuring and deploying IT equipment to support training facilities, classrooms and operational requirements.
