Job summary

CDW is seeking a motivated IT Support Technician / Onsite Engineer to support policing environments across the West Mercia region. Based in Worcester with regular travel to Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Bristol.

You will provide on-site desktop support, hardware maintenance and project assistance, with full training and sponsorship for security clearances. A 12-month fixed-term contract and £400 monthly car allowance are included.

Qualifications

• Previous IT Support, Service Desk, Field Engineering or Desktop Support experience.
• Good understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Server and networking basics.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC/NPPV).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support across police and secure locations.
• Assist with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server maintenance.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and perform break/fix tasks.
• Support office moves and equipment deployments.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation.
• Support project work across the region and cover at customer sites.
