Job summary

BCN Group Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer to be based on customer sites in Central London. The role covers 37.5 hours weekly with rotating daytime shifts and a salary of £35,000–£40,000 per year plus benefits.

You will serve as the primary technical contact for clients, perform on-site visits, and collaborate with the Field Services Manager to maintain IT infrastructure. Strong customer-facing skills and Microsoft ecosystem expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT support in small to mid-size environments.
• Proven ability to be the primary technical contact for clients and to manage escalations.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to resolve technical issues.
• Act as 3rd party technical point of contact for escalations.
• Log and gather technical details for tickets.
• Troubleshoot end-user requests and minimize incident impact.
• Support backups and DR planning.
• Manage network services: WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, security.
• Maintain and monitor remote management systems and alerts.
• Implement and support remote access solutions (VPN/ Citrix).
• Document regular client reviews and communicate with Account Manager.
