Job summary

Onecom is seeking a Dedicated Engineer to be based at client sites, delivering day-to-day technical support, incident management, and proactive improvements to the IT environment. Travel to the London office weekly is required, with travel time considered in hours.

• Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
• Strong troubleshooting across diverse technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, AD, Hyper-V, and Windows Server.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder communication.
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, solution-focused and independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Manage client helpdesk and ticket queue, ensuring requests logged and resolved to SLAs.
• Be the first point of contact for client calls, emails and technical support requests.
• Provide remote and onsite support, troubleshoot issues and coordinate escalations when needed.
• Support and maintain Microsoft technologies including M365, Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, and Azure.
• Administer virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Support network infrastructure, security, telephony, and remote access technologies.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve issues and support business apps.
• Deliver small infrastructure and deployment projects and assist Project Engineers with larger initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, processes and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT services, infrastructure performance, security, and customer experience.
• Support cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
