Job summary

Flying Colours Consultancy Limited is seeking a Desktop Engineer to provide onsite support at Leighton Park, Reading. The role requires strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, plus Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Workspace expertise.

The candidate should have Apple device experience, basic networking skills, and a hands-on approach to IT support in a school environment. Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00, on-site position.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google applications.
• Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
• Microsoft systems administration experience (Windows Server, 365, Azure).
• Google G Suite for Education experience.
• Apple product experience (including hardware, macOS, and iOS).
• Basic networking skills (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, wireless).

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support at Leighton Park, Reading.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows/macOS workstations.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
• Support Google Workspace for Education users.
• Support Apple hardware and iOS devices.
• Perform basic networking troubleshooting (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP).
