Balfour Beatty plc is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager on Anglian Water alliance projects. The role focuses on safe, efficient delivery and site compliance, with opportunities to grow toward a Site Manager position across the @one Alliance.

You will coordinate resources, monitor progress, and lead site activities while maintaining SHEQ standards and client relations on medium-sized schemes.

Competenze

• Experience as a Site Supervisor on medium-sized projects.
• SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work.
• Temporary Works Supervisor qualification and knowledge of construction techniques.
• Commercial and contractual awareness with programme/resource management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to solve problems and manage priorities on a busy site.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Collaborative and improvement-focused, with coaching ability.

Mansioni

• Support planning and delivery of construction activities across site.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor programmes, progress, risks and opportunities.
• Carry out site inspections and ensure work meets specifications and SHEQ requirements.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and documents are in place and communicated.
• Maintain accurate site records and support management of changes and site issues.
• Build positive working relationships with site teams, clients and other stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and deputising for the Site Manager.
