Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for the Anglian Water AMP8 programme. The role supports the Site Manager to safely and efficiently deliver construction activities on site, coordinating labour, plant and materials while maintaining quality and programme commitments.

You will help manage RAMS, permits and site documentation, and deputise for the Site Manager as required. A collaborative, improvement-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Site Supervisor experience on medium-sized projects.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work are required.
• Temporary Works Supervisor qualification or equivalent beneficial.
• Commercial awareness and experience with programme/resource management.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of construction activities across site.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor short-term programmes, progress and risks.
• Carry out site inspections and ensure SHEQ compliance.
• Ensure RAMS and permits are in place and communicated.
• Maintain site records and manage changes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, provide leadership when needed.
