Job summary

Anglian Water's @one Alliance is seeking Assistant Site Managers to support Site Managers in safe, efficient delivery of construction activities across the AW region. You will help coordinate activities, ensure works meet safety, quality, cost and programme standards.

This role provides day-to-day leadership to site teams and subcontractors, deputising for the Site Manager when required, and driving performance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent on medium-sized construction projects.
• SMSTS training, CSCS card and Health & Safety or First Aid at Work courses.
• Programme and resource management experience.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Managers and operational teams to achieve project objectives.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of construction activities.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery.
• Assist in the management and coordination of site resources.
• Promote a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Build positive relationships with project teams, promoting an inclusive and respectful working environment by encouraging collaboration and diverse perspectives.
