Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to help deliver one of our developments. You will work closely with the Site Manager and team to coordinate on-site activity, ensuring safe, efficient progress and high-quality homes for customers.

In this hands-on role, you will help manage daily construction, promote safety, monitor quality, and coordinate with contractors, NHBC, and homeowners. A strong site presence and proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifikationen

• CSCS supervisor accreditation is required.
• SMSTS qualification is required.
• A valid First Aid certificate is required.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification is required.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements is essential.
• Good IT and communication skills are essential.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• Previous experience in housebuilding or residential construction is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity.
• Ensure work is delivered in line with programme, budget and quality standards.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Carry out health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics.
• Work with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• Deputise for the Site Manager and coordinate snagging with homeowners.
