Places Developments is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to support successful delivery on a residential development. You will work with the Site Manager and project team to coordinate daily site activities, ensuring safety, quality and on-time progress.

You will promote safe practices, monitor quality, conduct inductions, plan packages, and liaise with contractors, NHBC and homeowners, deputising when needed. A strong on-site background is essential.

Qualificações

• CSCS supervisor accreditation required.
• SMSTS qualification essential.
• First Aid certificate required for on-site safety.
• Scaffold Inspection qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards and building control requirements.
• Previous experience in housebuilding or residential construction.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsabilidades

• Support Site Manager with day-to-day management of construction activity, ensuring work meets programme, budget and quality standards.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain a professional site culture.
• Monitor quality and ensure Build Stage Inspection processes are followed.
• Conduct health and safety inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Plan and coordinate work packages, site activities and logistics to minimise risks.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, NHBC and stakeholders to keep progress on track.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required and maintain site management discipline.
• Liaise with homeowners and coordinate timely snagging completion.
