Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking an experienced Site Manager-level candidate to assist the Site Manager in steering construction sites from development to completion. You’ll help manage programmes, quality targets and costs through effective leadership of site teams and subcontractors.

Key duties include coordinating trades, attending Sales/Build meetings, deputising when needed, and maintaining strong customer service standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within established build programs.
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• CIOB/NVQ CM construction management OR time-served tradesman.
• Health & Safety knowledge and NHBC/Building Regulations awareness.
• Customer service experience in on-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Attend Sales/Build meetings with the Sales Team and ensure procedures are followed; inspect show homes.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required and assume duties as directed.
• Ensure on-site construction team is well-resourced with clear job responsibilities and training.
• Deliver excellent customer service following company guidelines.
