Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager to oversee on-site operations across multiple developments. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will ensure works align with BDW standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.

The role involves supervising site teams, inspecting signage, and maintaining site safety and cleanliness. The successful candidate will have experience on large housing sites, hold a CSCS card, and demonstrate health and safety awareness, plus the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience on large-volume domestic housing sites.
• CSCS or equivalent card is required.
• Health and safety awareness is essential.
• Self-starter who can work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all works on site as instructed by the Site Manager and BDW Standards.
• Inspect on-site signage and ensure signs are clean and in good repair.
• Take personal responsibility for health and safety on site.
• Ensure protection of fixed material is maintained per BDW procedures.
• Maintain welfare facilities and keep plots tidy by all trades.
• Walk round plots daily to ensure no surplus materials.
• Report safety breaches to the Site Manager.
