The 2nd Line IT Support Engineer role in Peterborough is an onsite, hands-on position within a busy school IT team. You will support staff and students, resolving escalated tickets and maintaining a high standard of service.

You will work with Microsoft technologies, assist with infrastructure projects, and mentor junior team members while ensuring proper documentation and excellent end-user support.

Qualifikationen

• Experience providing 2nd line IT support in a school or corporate environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory environments.

• Provide 2nd line support for users across the school.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues.

• Assist with SCCM administration, software deployments and device management.
• Work closely with the IT Manager on infrastructure-related tasks and projects.
• Support, mentor and provide guidance to junior IT staff.
• Manage and resolve escalated service desk tickets.
• Maintain accurate documentation and technical records.
• Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all end users.
