Job summary

Sainsbury's in Worksop is seeking an Online Manager to lead an expanding online picking and delivery team, coordinating in-store and online service.

You will mentor shoppers and drivers, drive KPI performance, and collaborate with store managers to ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers. This role involves early morning hours and hands-on leadership in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

Track record of delivering brilliant customer service.
Experience leading a team in fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Operational leadership in store operations in the absence of more senior managers.
Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs.
Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.

Responsibilities

Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to support in-store online service.
Be a visible leader, coaching a large team of shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless and safe shopping experience.
Collaborate with other managers to ensure the success of the shopping experience of the overall store.
Manage performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay.
Oversee online teams working early mornings (04:00–08:00).
