Job summary

Pure Talent Group Ltd is recruiting for a Rail Mobile Mechanical Fitter Day Maintainer on a permanent, full-time, field-based basis. The role offers a basic salary of £39,000–£43,000, paid overtime, a company van with fuel card, a pension, and a Health Cash Plan.

Training is provided as you work on On-Track Maintenance Trains across your region. You will perform planned maintenance, inspections and fault finding on rail machinery, with travel to train locations and occasional overnight stays as

Qualifications

• Field-based engineering role with full training.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• No rail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, inspections, fault findings and repairs on railway equipment.
• Own and maintain day-to-day condition of a designated maintenance train.
• Travel to trains' location; support occasional temporary travel away from home.
• Complete maintenance records and ensure 5S housekeeping standards.
