Job summary

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water keep 3 million people healthy each day with safe, reliable water, and take away wastewater to clean, before returning it safely to our rivers and seas.

We are seeking a hands-on individual to help resolve distribution/leakage issues, work closely with GIS and distribution teams, and deliver high-quality customer service on site. The role is full-time with no flexible working options, including standby rota and strict health and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Good customer service background and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills within a water utility context.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to resolving distribution/leakage issues to minimise customer inconvenience.
• Maintain accurate GIS updates and data across IT systems daily.
• Liaise with distribution and other departments during incidents to ensure swift problem resolution.
• Work on site, comply with health and safety procedures, and adhere to deadlines.
• Represent the organisation through the project lifecycle from planning to approvals.
