Job summary

Hafren Dyfrdwy is seeking a Distribution Operative to operate and maintain our underground water network across Wales. You will be responsible for repairs of clean water mains and ancillary assets, plus excavation on public highways and private lands.

You will work outdoors in all weather, on a 24/7 on-call rota, and your full UK driving licence will be required to travel to depots. You’ll represent Hafren Dyfrdwy in communities and help deliver safe, reliable water services.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Commitment to health and safety and operating compliantly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Hafren Dyfrdwy's underground water network.
• Carry out repairs on clean water mains and ancillary assets; lay valves, washouts and meters.
• Conduct excavation work on public highways and private lands; liaise with other departments and partners.
