Job summary

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is recruiting for a permanent, on-site role in Cardiff within the Operational function. The salary is £28,065 with 260 hours of PWT and standby, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires full driving licence, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy water distribution environment. The successful candidate will contribute to leakage reduction, maintain data accuracy in GIS systems, and support the workforce during

Qualifications

• Current, full valid driving licence.
• Good level of customer service experience.
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal teams.
• Good knowledge of the water industry and related processes.
• Able to prioritise and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to resolving Distribution/Leakage issues to minimise customer disruption.
• Work as part of a team to achieve leakage targets.
• React with other departments during incidents (Silver & Gold).
• Ensure GIS updates are submitted to GIS bureau and data quality is maintained.
• Apply safe working practices and policies, on-site and off-site.
• Liaise with distribution teams and other stakeholders to resolve network/leakage challenges.
