Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect staff, property and assets by delivering professional security services in line with site Assignment Instructions and procedures.

You will hold a front-line SIA licence and work standard hours (08:45–17:15, Mon–Fri), with mandatory training and a strong commitment to customer service. Previous security experience, strong teamwork, and excellent communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the security industry.
• Strong team-working skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Maintain a valid SIA licence/DS licence as required on contract.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Carry out duties in line with Assignment Instructions (AIs) and site requirements.
• Ensure incidents are recorded accurately and referrals made promptly.
• Follow health and safety and regulatory obligations at all times.
• Demonstrate professional, courteous and calm conduct with staff and clients.
