Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect our clients' property and assets in line with Assignment Instructions, helping to meet KPIs/SLA and aiding contract retention.

The role requires an SIA Front-line Guarding or Door Supervision licence and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence, with mandatory compliance with UK law and ongoing professional development. Regular licence renewals are required 16 weeks before expiry.

Qualifications

• Security experience is required.
• Front-line SIA Licence is required (Guarding or Door Supervision).
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence is required. There are also additional courses that may be contractually required.

Responsibilities

• Protect property and assets on site in line with Assignment Instructions and KPIs/SLA.
• Ensure compliance with UK law and regulatory requirements.
• Document incidents and complete accurate notebook entries for Incident Reports.
• Call emergency services and the Communications Centre as needed.
• Maintain professional conduct and renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
