Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an on-site security officer to protect client properties and assets in line with site Assignment Instructions and UK laws.

You will deliver services that help retain the contract, complete mandatory training, and stay compliant with industry safeguards. You will hold an SIA front-line licence (security or door supervision) and CCTV SIA Licence as required, plus any contractually required courses.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• SIA Licence (UK) required.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Fully complete all tasks on site as defined within the Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Refer to and review AI's to suggest amendments to improve service levels.
• Maintain required licences (front-line security/door supervision) and CCTV SIA licence as applicable.
• Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
• Follow instructions and procedures without challenging authority unnecessarily.
• Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
• Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slots.
