Job summary

Rendall & Rittner is seeking a Scheme Manager for a 34-apartment private retirement living community in Birmingham. You’ll be the friendly on-site contact, coordinating cleaning, maintenance and statutory inspections while keeping records up to date and ensuring safe, welcoming spaces.

You’ll support resident wellbeing, manage contractors, and help present the development neatly and in compliance with policies, four days a week.

Qualifications

• Front-of-house and concierge experience in a people-centred setting.
• Strong H&S awareness and building compliance knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Greeting residents, visitors and contractors and being the go-to on-site contact.
• Scheduling and overseeing cleaning, maintenance and statutory inspections.
• Completing daily health and safety checks and maintaining accurate records.
• Managing keys, parcel deliveries, noticeboards and resident communications.
• Reporting repairs, following up on works and escalating issues when needed.
• Supporting community activities and signposting residents to helpful services.
