Job summary

LiveWest Homes Ltd in Truro, Cornwall, is seeking a Residential Scheme Manager to support residents in a retirement leasehold scheme. You will live on site in a subsidised two-bedroom property and manage 32 flats across four floors, working 30 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.

Your duties include being the first point of contact for customers, keeping communal areas clean and safe, welcoming new residents, liaising with contractors and care services, and helping people live independently with

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role with a focus on improving customer satisfaction.
• Substantive experience in working with people, particularly the elderly.
• Working with Warden Call Systems.
• Working knowledge of Social Services and Support Agencies.
• Customer service and customer care.
• Desirable: Health and Social Care qualification or HNC/NVQ in Customer Care.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers, offering guidance and support.
• Carry out cleaning to ensure communal areas are clean, safe and well-maintained and conduct site inspections.
• Welcome new customers and help them settle into the community.
• Liaise with contractors, medical professionals, support services, and families.
• Handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
