Job summary

Places for People is seeking a part-time Porter to join the on-site team at a London development. You will support security, health and safety checks, and assist residents and visitors to ensure a welcoming environment.

This role involves assisting the cleaning team, coordinating with the House Manager and operations colleagues, and contributing to a positive customer experience on site.

Qualifications

• Experience working in building services such as concierge or caretaking.
• Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Desirable: experience in a customer-facing, on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day site security and monitoring access.
• Assisting with health and safety compliance checks across the development.
• Being a visible presence on site and assisting residents and visitors when needed.
• Supporting the on-site cleaning team with additional tasks as directed.
• Working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate information sharing.
• Responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies in line with procedures.
• Contributing to a positive, professional customer experience across the development.
• Providing information to the Property Manager on a daily basis.
