Job summary

CompassRock in East Croydon is seeking a full-time Permanent Associate to support the maintenance team across the Altura 50 BTR asset. You will manage service requests, oversee contractors, and assist the Maintenance Manager with tenancy-related matters including health and safety and resident retention.

Responsibilities include defect coordination, ensuring market-ready apartments, and performing regular site inspections.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a maintenance/FM role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Clean driving licence.
• Ambition to undertake an industry-recognised qualification.
• Proactive and initiative-driven with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage maintenance requests, prioritising urgent items and resolving issues within SLAs.
• Oversee defects with builder and ensure oversight of works.
• Ensure quality of market-ready apartments and maintain community appearance.
• Conduct regular community inspections and tours.
• Assist with health and safety tasks including alarms and audits; support risk assessments.
