Job summary

CompassRock provides asset and property management services to the rental housing sector. The role supports the Maintenance Manager in Southampton (Market Quarter and Vantage Tower), focusing on delivering excellent customer service to residents throughout the tenancy lifecycle.

You will oversee building maintenance, manage service requests, coordinate external contractors, and assist with health and safety, risk assessments, and move-ins/outs.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in a maintenance/FM role.
• Strong preference for those with plumbing experience.
• Ambition/willingness to undertake and complete an industry-recognised qualification (costs to be covered by company).

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage maintenance service requests, prioritising urgent issues and resolving them promptly.
• Work with builders to pass defects for resolution with oversight of work.
• Ensure market-ready apartment quality and appearance.
• Conduct regular community inspections and tours to maintain standards.
• Install and check smoke and carbon monoxide alarms for Health & Safety.
