Job summary

MET Recruitment UK Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Technician / IT Support on a temporary basis for an initial 1 to 3 month assignment. The role is on-site and involves hands-on support across hardware, software, systems and infrastructure to keep the business running smoothly.

You will set up new starters, configure equipment, email accounts and system access, and provide day-to-day helpdesk support while collaborating with the IT team. Experience with Epicor ERP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support experience.
• Experience setting up IT equipment for new starters.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day IT support to users via the internal helpdesk.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and business systems issues.
• Setting up new starters, including PCs/laptops, email and system access.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software.
• Supporting users with the ERP system and completing ERP tasks.
• Assisting with the maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting connectivity and IT infrastructure issues.
• Providing technical support to external entities when required.
• Managing queries through to resolution and escalating where appropriate.
