Job summary

83zero Ltd in Bracknell is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the on-site IT team. You will be the first point of contact for internal users, handling 1st/2nd line issues and assisting with core infrastructure tasks.

You will shadow the IT Manager on projects and contribute to maintaining Windows OS, Active Directory, and security fundamentals while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 1st or 2nd line support role.
• Good knowledge of Windows OS and basic LAN/WAN networking.
• Proficient with Windows Server, Office, Active Directory and IT security fundamentals.
• Exposure to supporting applications such as Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe/Print Management or VoIP is a bonus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; eager to learn and tackle new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues for internal users as the first point of contact, including VIP support.
• Shadow the IT Manager and assist with IT infrastructure projects.
• Maintain and administer core IT systems and stay current with new technologies.
