Job summary

Capgemini in Telford is offering an 18-month IT Support Technician Apprenticeship. You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, delivering friendly, professional customer service and solving problems for colleagues across the business.

The role requires basic familiarity with Windows 10/11, MS Office, Apple devices, or common hardware, and you’ll study part-time with a Baltic-led apprenticeship while working full-time on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-level candidates with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face and voice of IT support, helping colleagues resolve their technical issues
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring every interaction is helpful, clear, and professional
• Identify and troubleshoot faults, resolving incidents and requests within SLA targets
• Support mobile technology such as phones and laptops
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Set up and configure PCs, laptops, and MacBooks
• Help with IT stores and equipment when needed
• Support internal events with IT setup and assistance
• Create and update simple support guides and documentation
• Work on the Tech Table or Virtual Tech Table (once trained) to assist users
• Occasionally visit nearby sites to provide hands-on IT support
