Job summary

TavasTechs in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a busy, on-site team spanning Leicester and Rugby. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support for hundreds of users and maintain Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AD, and Windows Server environments to keep services available and secure.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, customer focus, and the ability to work across multiple sites with occasional rota-based out‑of‑hours support.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support or 1st/2nd line support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows.
• Experience with SQL Server and backups.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and telephony issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
• Manage Active Directory user accounts and access controls.
• Support Windows Server environments and ongoing maintenance.
• Assist with SQL Server administration and backups.
• Support backup and disaster recovery testing.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain documentation and asset records.
• Travel between Leicester and Rugby sites.
• Occasional out-of-hours support on a rota basis.
