Job summary

TavasTechs is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our on-site team in Leicester and Rugby. You will provide 1st/2nd line support, manage Microsoft 365 and AD, and help maintain Windows Server environments across multiple sites.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and telephony issues, work with backups and SQL Server administration, and collaborate with third-party vendors. Travel between sites is required, with occasional out-of-hours support.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support or Infrastructure roles.
• Strong skills in Microsoft 365, Windows, and AD.
• Experience with SQL Server, backups and recovery.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for 600+ users across Leicester and Rugby.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and telephony issues.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
• Administer Active Directory and user access controls.
• Support Windows Server environments and backups.
• Assist with SQL Server administration and disaster recovery testing.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and document procedures.
• Travel between Leicester and Rugby sites as required; rota-based out-of-hours support.
