Job summary
SCG Connected is seeking a Field Engineer to support the delivery of Surgery Connect products across surgeries in the United Kingdom. You will install hardware, set up structured cabling, and help staff configure PCs on site. The role involves on-site support, VoIP and WIFI installations, and fault finding, with travel up to 4 nights per week.
You will work to Health & Safety and data protection standards. A full UK driving licence and a DBS check are required; benefits include holiday
Qualifications
- Ability to work to Health & Safety regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of data cabling installations and VOIP/WIFI system setups in clinical or commercial environments.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Full clean UK driver's license.
- DBS check is required.
Responsibilities
- Install and extend CAT5e cabling and trunking.
- Conduct site surveys in surgeries and report findings.
- Install and configure VoIP phones, Phonebar, switches, routers, and WIFI.
- Provide on-site customer support and training at Go-Lives.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults to resolution.
- Stay updated with Health & Safety and product trainings.
- Promote products and services to generate leads.
