Job summary

eduthing is seeking an IT Field Engineer to provide on-site technical support, installations and maintenance for schools in Wakefield, Huddersfield and Leeds.

You will diagnose hardware, software and network issues, install and upgrade equipment, train end users and keep systems secure and performing at peak.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, can work independently, and is comfortable travelling between sites with a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving license (essential).
• Proven experience in a similar technical support role (experience in education sector is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and repairs of IT equipment and systems.
• Maintain and monitor systems to ensure optimum performance and security.
