Job summary

EDClass Ltd, headquartered in Dinnington, Sheffield, is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide on-site 1st and 2nd line hardware, software, network, and AV support across the organisation. You will maintain on-site equipment, support virtual teaching booths, and ensure robust security practices aligned with KCSIE.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in technical support, strong Windows and M365 knowledge, and familiarity with network basics; a Level 3 IT qualification or equivalent

Qualifications

Essential: GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
Essential: Level 3 IT qualification (e.g., BTEC National, T-Level, Advanced IT Apprenticeship) OR demonstrable equivalent commercial experience.

Responsibilities

Provide first and second line IT support to internal staff and learners via ticketing system, phone, and in-person.
Maintain on-site IT equipment and support virtual teaching booths and platform connectivity.
Configure and support visualisers, cameras, headsets, and AV equipment for live lessons.
Manage Microsoft 365 accounts and mailboxes; support Zoho/CRM tools as needed.
Monitor LAN/Wi‑Fi, perform security scans, and assist with GDPR/data protection compliance.
